Forged motorsport wheel centre as a 1:1 replacement for Speedline

The CARGRAPHIC MOTORSPORT wheel centre has been specifically developed for classic Porsche motorsport – as a direct 1:1 replacement for the original Speedline motorsport wheel centres that were used on Porsche race cars of their era.

These original magnesium wheel centres are no longer available as new parts today and can only be found on the used market in limited condition. At the same time, they have become increasingly critical and failure-prone in motorsport use due to ageing and material fatigue.

CARGRAPHIC takes this historic concept and translates it into a modern, technically optimised forged wheel centre. The objective was to retain the original geometry entirely – with identical brake clearance and the same offset – while significantly improving weight and long-term durability.

Modern forged centre instead of magnesium

The extensively machined CARGRAPHIC forged wheel centre replaces the originally used magnesium wheel centres, offering lower weight with significantly higher durability.
With a weight of just 4.20 kg, the CARGRAPHIC MOTORSPORT wheel centre is lighter than the original Speedline magnesium centres and even lighter than the magnesium wheel centres used by BBS.

Through modern forging technology and targeted material optimisation, this motorsport component matches the historic originals in appearance and fitment, while being clearly superior in technical performance.

Dual mounting system – bolt mounting or centre-lock

A key feature of the CARGRAPHIC MOTORSPORT wheel centre is its dual mounting system.
Using a single wheel centre, it is possible to realise both:

• the classic 5×130 stud or bolt mounting, and
• the centre-lock system used on Porsche motorsport models.

This makes the wheel centre ideally suited for Porsche race cars of the 911, 964, 993 and 996 generations, including CUP and SUPERCUP models, while allowing the continued use of existing Speedline wheel barrels.

Developed for motorsport use

The CARGRAPHIC MOTORSPORT wheel centre is a purpose-built motorsport component for vehicles used in competition, on the racetrack or in historic motorsport. It was developed with the clear objective of providing a technically uncompromising, durable and dimensionally precise solution for classic Porsche motorsport applications.
