The big disadvantage of the factory OPF
The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 and 718 Boxster Spyder models, compared to their predecessors of the 981 model series, have a clearly acoustic disadvantage due to the standard Otto Particulate Filter, or OPF for short. Besides the sound, the performance of the large 4.0l 6-cylinder Boxer engine also suffers from the artificially constricted exhaust tract.
Significantly better sound and noticeably more power - despite OPF
The new CARGRAPHIC Otto Particulate Filters were developed and designed especially for an optimized exhaust gas flow. The improved exhaust gas routing enables a much more powerful sound and an impressively increased engine performance.
Form and connection like the original component
All CARGRAPHIC OPF models correspond 1:1 in shape, mounting and connection to the series Otto Particulate Filter. This elaborate design allows the factory fastening elements, heat protection parts and sensors to be easily adopted. In addition, the cylindrical design ensures a 100% accurate fit and maximum stability with the rear silencer bracket. This is essential important as without it, it will cause cracking due to the leverage.
CARGRAPHIC OPF in 4 versions
Depending on the requirements, the flow-optimized CARGRAPHIC Otto Particulate Filters are available in four variants:
- CARGRAPHIC OPF with sensor monitoring for EURO models
- CARGRAPHIC OPF replacement housing set with sensor monitoring for EURO models (programming required)
- CARGRAPHIC OPF without sensor monitoring for ROW models
- CARGRAPHIC OPF replacement housing set without sensor monitoring
All versions are compatible with both original and CARGRAPHIC exhaust components.
